Licenses

The actions related to managing licenses, such as adding licenses, assigning licenses, and managing licenses, require the Global Administration role. Please ensure that you have the necessary permissions to perform these actions.

The Licenses section provides an overview of the licensing features in AnySoft. It allows you to manage and assign licenses to users, ensuring smooth access to AnySoft's suite of products.

AnySoft Licenses


License Types

AnySoft offers different types of licenses to cater to various business needs and solution requirements. Different products have different license types. Below is a list of different license types and their purpose.

Add Licenses

Adding and creating subscriptions for new licenses to your tenant is simple.

  1. Log in to the AnySoft portal.
  2. Navigate to the Licenses section.
  3. Click on the "Add Product" button.
  4. Select the Product you would like to add. Click the "+" button.
  5. Set the Product License Quantity you would like.
  6. Enter Billing and Address Information.
  7. Click the Subscribe button to purchase and add the licenses to your account.
All licenses are automatically billed monthly on the date the subscription is started. Licenses added will be billed upfront and are not pro rata or refunded on cancellation or removal. For special pricing or volume discount, please contact [email protected].

Assigning License

Once a subscription has been created and licenses added to your tenant, you can allocate user licensing.

  1. Log in to the AnySoft portal.
  2. Navigate to the Licenses section.
  3. Find the License you want to assign to a user and click the license name.
  4. Click "+ Assign License"
  5. Select the checkbox next to each user you would like to add.
  6. Click the "Submit" button to assign the license.
Users that are not shown within the "Assign License" popup indicates that the user has already been assigned the license.
You can assign multiple users at the same time to a license by selecting more than one user during the "Assign License" process.

Unassigning License

Sometimes things change; luckily, unassigning Licenses from users is easy.

  1. Log in to the AnySoft portal.
  2. Navigate to the Licenses section.
  3. Find the License you want to unassign to a user and click the license name.
  4. Click the "Delete" next to the user's name.
  5. Click "Yes, delete it" on the popup confirmation to unassign the user from the selected license.
Once a user has been removed from a license, they will lose access to the associated product. Ensure you have communicated the license removal to the user and that they have logged out of the associated product.

Manage License

Increase a license quantity, change settings, or update billable information for your subscriptions and licenses.

  1. Log in to the AnySoft portal.
  2. Navigate to the Licenses section.
  3. Click the "Manage Licenses" button
  4. Make necessary changes as required to licenses or billable information.
Changes made to licensing via the "Manage License" portal may take up to 1 hour to complete. An increase in the quantity of licenses will be billed at the time of increase, and any increase or decrease will change the recurring subscription for the product.
