Users

The actions outlined in this document, such as adding users, importing users, editing user details, deleting users, updating passwords, and exporting users, require the Global Administration role. Please ensure that you have the necessary permissions to perform these actions.

Manage user accounts and access rights with ease using AnySoft's comprehensive user management capabilities. From adding and importing users to editing their details and updating passwords, this guide will walk you through the various user management features available.

AnySoft Users


Add User

Adding a new user is simple and you can make as many as you like. Users can be created within AnySoft without requiring a license.

Visit Importing Users to add more than a single user at once.
  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Click on the "Add User" button.
  4. Fill in the required user information, such as name, email, and role.
  5. Click the "Save" button to create the user.

Import Users

Adding more than a single user into AnySoft. Try the Import button to import users from a CSV file directly into the users portal.

  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Click "Import Users".
  4. You will need to prepare a CSV file with the user details. To make this easy we provide a "Download CSV Format" button.
  5. Once the CSV file has been created with the necessary user details, drag the CSV file into the 'Drop files here to upload' section and click "Submit ->".
  6. The users will now import and the user import creation process is complete.
Visit Roles to get the correct 'Role Id' for CSV import.

Edit User

Sometimes things change, luckily updating user details is simple. Click the edit button to update.

  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Find the user you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button under actions. (This will open a popup similar to the 'Add User' window.)
  4. Update the user's details as needed, such as name, email, or role.
  5. Click the "Save" button to save the changes.

Delete User

Users come and go. You can delete users just as easily as creating them.

  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Find the user you want to edit and click on the "Delete" button under actions.
  4. Click the "Yes, delete it!" button to delete the user.
Deleting a user is an irreversible action. Once a user is deleted, their account and associated data will be permanently removed from the system. Please ensure that you have selected the correct user and proceed with caution.

Update Password

Updating a user's password is simple. As a Global Administrator, you can set a custom secure password for any user.

  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Find the user you want to edit and click on the "Key" button under actions.
  4. Enter the new password information and click the "Update" button to set the new password.
As a Global Administrator, you may want to update your password. You will need to enter your current password to set a new password.

Export User

Just as easy as importing users for the first time, you can simply export a list of users in an easy-to-use CSV file.

  1. Login to the AnySoft Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Users page.
  3. Click on the "Export" button.
  4. The CSV file will be automatically downloaded by your web browser and available in your downloads folder.
